Our Purpose
Alan Shearer Short Break Centre and Alan Shearer Activity Centre
are part of St Cuthberts Care, a charity working for
the common good by enabling people to develop to their personal potential.

Welcome to the Alan Shearer Centre

The Short Break Centre and the Activity Centre now have their own
dedicated websites, with their own information, news,
contact and booking details.


The Short Break Centre offers individually tailored holiday-style short breaks for children and
adults with physical and learning disabilities in a happy, stimulating and safe environment.

The Activity Centre provides both relaxing and stimulating activities for disabled people of all ages.
The Centre is open to everyone and facilities can be booked on a pay-as-you-go basis.
